(F) USES :
Cypermethrin is a highly potent stomach and contact insecticide of synthetic pythroid group extremely effective against a wide range of insect pests, including strains resistant to organochorine,organophosphorus and carbamate insecticides,in (Crops of) cotton, cereals, citrus, tobacco, groundnut, gram, vegetables and fruit crops.It is used to control hard to kill Lepidopterous & Hemipterous insects like Bollworms, Leaf cutting caterpillars and Fruit & shoot borers of above mentioned crops. Cypermethrin provides quick knockdown effect and also has anti-feedant and repellent action. The technical grade cypermethrin is used for formulation to reduced concentrations e.g. Cypermethrin 10% & 25%EC, which are further used for control of insects in above mentioned crops.

(G) ANTIDOTE STATEMENT
1.  First Aid :   If skin contaminated wat with soap and plenty of water. If eyes are contaminated. Flush with clean water. Call a physician.
2.  Medical :    If swallowed a gastric lavage with warm water maybe Treatment given followed by administration of a mixture containing 2 part of activated charcoal, 1 part of magnesium oxide and 1 part of tannic acid in a glass of warm water. To control convulsions, phenobarbital (upto 0.7gm.per day) may be given. Treat symptomatically.

(H) PRECAUTIONS BY THE USERS:
Use the protective clothings like gloves, apron, facemasks, while handling. Do not eat, drink, smoke or chew tobacco while working with the insecticide. Wash hands and exposed skin before meals and after work. Store in original containers away from foodstuff and animal feed.
