(F)  USES :
Fenvalerate is one of the most versatile synthetic pyrethroid insecticides and it acts as a highly active contact and stomach poison against a broadspectrum of pests, including strains resistant to organochlorine, organophosphorus and carbamate insecticide. It gives control of leaf and fruit eating insects, such as bollworm, fruit & shoot borers aphids, jassids etc. on a range of crops, including cotton, cauli-flower, brinjal, okara, vines and fruits ; 25-250 g a.i per hectare. Its stability in sunlight and resistance to rain wash - off insures good residual activity on treated plants.It is also used in public health and animal husbandary;
100mg/m-2 wall can provide60-d residual control of files in animal housing.
(G)  ANTIDOTE  STATEMENT :
      1. First Aid : If skin contaminated wash with soap and plenty of water.
                         If eyes are contaminated flush with clean water call a physician.
      2. Medical Treatment : If ingested, gastric lavage with warm water may be
                                        given with care to prevent aspiration.
                                        Treat symptomatically.
(H)  PRECAUTIONS BY THE USERS :
Use the protective clothings like gloves, apron, face, masks, while handling. Do not eat, drink, smoke or chew tobacco while working with the insecticide. Wash hands and exposed skin before meals and after work. Store in original containers away from foodstuff and animal feed.
